Stratagy:

Now this is a versitile boss! Start the battle by casting Big Guard. Then follow up with Magic Hammers or Ghost Hands on both Jamar Armor and Proud Clod. This will prevent Proud Clod from using Beam Cannon, which can devastate a weaker party. Knights of the Round coupled with MP Turbo should be able to finish off this boss with one cast. If you don't have KOTR yet, use your best summons. Give Cloud a Hyper and keep him alive long enough to build up his limit break. If you don't have Omnislash yet, Meteorian still works well.
